QCF Case Studies in Employer Engagement

CCEA has been working with the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) to support the implementation of the Vocational Qualifications Reform (VQR) Programme. A major aim of this work is to enable employers to have a more effective voice in qualifications development and to be able to link their bespoke company training programmes into the regulatory framework.

To this end CCEA has produced the following case studies. These detail how the four organisations below have been able to link their training programmes to National Occupational Standards (NOS) and with units and qualifications available on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) by working with CCEA, relevant Sector Skills Councils (SSCs), awarding organisations and providers.
