Portfolio Support

Dear Colleague,

As part of its support service to centres offering the above course, CCEA is providing a Portfolio Support Service. This will provide feedback on pupils’ work to enable centres to mark it accurately and with confidence.

• Centres are invited to submit to CCEA, for consideration by the Moderation Team, samples of pupils’ work, completed to date, that have been provisionally assessed by the teacher.
• Only photocopied work should be submitted –
  ORIGINAL WORK MUST NOT BE SENT
• No more than three samples should be submitted; if possible these should represent a range of levels of attainment.
• Samples should be addressed to the Assessment Administration Team.

Stationery to accompany the samples of work will be issued in the January 2006 despatch.

The closing date for the submission of samples is Friday 17 February 2006.

Feedback will be given to centres submitting samples in March.
