A Level Biology: Paper AS 3A June 2006

Please note the following changes to A Level Biology Paper AS 3A Practical Processes.

1 The duration of the paper will now be increased from 45 minutes to 1 hour.

 

2 The mark allocation has been increased.

(a) Graphical construction will increase from 6 to 8 marks.

(b) Drawing marks will increase from 3 to 5/6 marks.

(c) Planning marks will increase from 8 to 10 marks.

 

3 In consequence the total for this paper is now 50 marks.

 

4 These changes will take affect in the June 2006 paper and onwards.

 

5 The A Biology Specification on CCEA’s website has been modified accordingly.
