GCE English Literature
Mark Schemes: Assessment Matrices

New 6 band assessment matrices were introduced into GCE English mark schemes for the spring 2004 Series of examinations. These assessment matrices will continue to be used for the examination components of GCE English Literature in the summer 2005 series of examinations.

Slight modifications have been made to the 6 band matrices. These will be placed on the CCEA website later.

Teachers should continue to use the original 4 band matrices for the assessment of coursework modules AS3 and A2 2b.
