Essential Skills Centre Accreditation
Reminder

CCEA is launching a system of Centre Accreditation for Essential Skills for Entry level, level 1 and level 2. The system will become operational in January 2006.

Accredited Centre status recognizes that a centre has the policies and procedures in place to ensure the effective delivery of Essential Skills. Additionally candidates’ portfolio and/or task results will be determined by assessments carried out by tutors in Accredited Centres. All centres offering CCEA Essential Skills must become accredited by January 2006.

Submissions for accreditation must be received by CCEA by 30th September 2005


Centres are reminded that the submission documentation must contain evidence of the procedure for maintaining the confidentiality of the Desk-top Tasks.
