GCSE English Literature: Poetry Anthologies

 

Every centre in Northern Ireland has been sent copies of the CCEA Poetry Anthologies. For each centre the number of copies sent has been based on the number of candidates entered for GCSE English Literature in 2005.

CCEA undertakes to provide one copy of the Poetry Anthologies per pupil and teacher.This circular explains how to obtain more copies should you need them.

You are likely to require more copies if numbers taking GCSE English Literature have increased in your centre or if your centre has moved to CCEA from another awarding body.

A fax-back form has been enclosed with this letter for you to use to order any additional copies you may need. Where only a small number of additional copies is required, they can be downloaded from the CCEA website: www.ccea.org.uk.

New Poetry Anthologies Website

The CCEA Poetry Anthology Website is now accessible at www.ccea.org.uk. The new site provides a range of resources, including audio, to support the teaching of Anthology One.

Focus Groups

CCEA will be inviting teachers to form focus groups to discuss the content of both Anthologies this term.
