Coursework Support Service for:
GCSE Two Tier Modular Mathematics
As part of its support service to centres offering the above course, CCEA is providing a Coursework Support Service. This service will provide feedback at a formative stage on aspects of the internal assessment process to enable teachers to mark coursework confidently.
- Centres are invited to submit to CCEA samples of work that have been provisionally assessed by the teacher for consideration by the subject Principal Moderator/Assistant Principal Moderator.
- Only photocopied samples of candidates’ coursework should be submitted – ORIGINAL WORK MUST NOT BE SENT .
- No more than three samples should be submitted and if possible should represent a range of mark bands.
- This service is for the new GCSE Two Tier Modular Mathematics pilot course ONLY.
To avail of this service, please complete one of the enclosed submission forms and return it with your samples, using the prepaid envelopes or other suitable packaging to: Coursework Support Service, Moderation Section, CCEA, 29 Clarendon Road , Clarendon Dock, BELFAST , BT1 3BG . Should you need additional submission forms, please feel free to use photocopies. The closing date for submissions is Friday 25 November 2005 .
- CCEA will dispatch feedback to Centres in early December.
