Re-instatement of Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry

A number of centres have expressed concern at the reduced choice available in the Prose section of CCEA’s GCSE English Literature specification. In light of these concerns, the Council has taken the decision to reinstate Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry for the summer series of examinations in 2006 and 2007.

The process of selecting a novel to replace Roll of Thunder …for 2008 has begun. Centres will be given details of the replacement novel as soon as it becomes available.
