Working with the Community
CCEA’s work has a positive impact on the communities in which we work. We influence the culture and shape the skills base of our society.
However, our interest extends beyond our core work. Through our business activities and community support, we aim to make a lasting and positive impression on our communities and society.
Employee Volunteering Scheme
In partnership with Business in the Community, our staff assist with local volunteer organisations. Our flexible volunteering programme allows staff to contribute their time and skills to organisations that most need their support.
Staff are given time during the work day to support activities such as mentoring school students, refurbishing charity premises and working on environmental projects.
CCEA hosts and supports a number of charitable events throughout the year including activity days, marathons, craft fairs and mountain climbing. Our staff suggest and organise the events, take part and give generously to our nominated charities.
