Data Protection Act 1998
The Data Protection Act 1998 came into force on 1st March 2000 and applies to information about individuals ("personal data"). It gives individuals ("the data subject") the right to access personal information that CCEA holds about them. They do this by making a Subject Access Request. The Act also sets out the requirements for how organizations should handle personal data.
