Specifications of the 2008/2009 Transfer Tests
The 2008/2009 Transfer Tests will be based on the present Programmes of Study in English, Mathematics, and Science and Technology which became statutory in September 1996 (Irish replaces English in Irish-medium schools). The principal purpose of this booklet is to provide a clear statement for schools on the parts of those Programmes of Study on which questions will be set in tests. Separate guidance is being issued to Irish-medium primary schools.
