Revised GCSE Learning for Life and Work
(for first teaching from September 2009)
Centres now have a choice between two revised GCSE Learning for Life and Work specifications, from September 2009:
Learning for Life and Work – 3 units in total (2 controlled assessment tasks/reports and 1 terminal examination covering all three areas of content)
Learning for Life and Work: Modular - 5 units in total (2 controlled assessment tasks/reports and 3 modular exams - one for each of the three areas of content).
For the modular option - there will be examination opportunities in January and Summer.
