The Applied Art and Design specification will not be available from September 2008 as we wish to consult further with employers to make this a more innovative applied specification.
GCE Art and Design provides students a detailed understanding of the techniques, processes and methods used in Art, Design and Craft.
GCSE Art and Design students develop the conceptual, visual literacy and communication skills necessary for critical thinking, independence of thought and self-expression.
GCSE Applied Art and Design Double Award is a two-year vocational qualification that allows students to benefit from work-related learning.
CCEA’s Entry Level Art and Design qualification is an excellent way for students who do not wish to follow the GCSE Art and Design course to demonstrate positive achievement and continuous development.
