In GCSE Applied Business, students must complete one controlled assessment with a number of tasks. The controlled assessment lasts 60 hours and is worth 60 percent of the final award. It is available in summer only. The teacher marks the controlled assessment and we moderate it.
Each year we release a range of controlled assessment scenarios. Students must choose one of these scenarios and complete the tasks associated with it.
We replace the controlled assessment scenarios and tasks every year. They may test students on all areas of the specification.
