Entry Level in Business Studies

Our Entry Level Business Studies enables students to look at business from a variety of perspectives including that of the owner/manager, employee and the consumer. During the course, students discover examples of businesses, what they do, the different types of owners, why businesses exist and how they affect the community. Students also develop their knowledge of:

  • customers’ needs;
  • marketing;
  • production;
  • why businesses need money, where it comes from, and how it is recorded; and
  • the relationship between businesses and employees.

Entry Level Business Studies is aimed at both young people (aged 14+) and adult learners and is a good basis for further learning and qualifications.
