Entry Level Business Studies aims to:


  • make students aware of the important role businesses play in our society;
  • provide students with experience in a range of business activities;
  • help students acquire numeracy, literacy, IT and oral communication skills;
  • prepare students for the experiences, opportunities and responsibilities of adult life
  • encourage initiative and self-motivation; and
  • provide opportunities for students to work as part of a team.

There are five units of study, which teachers may deliver in any order they see fit. Each unit and its related topics are summarised below:
