AS and A2 Economics Course Companions
CCEA is producing Course Companions for each of the AS and A2 units of its revised GCE Specification.
These materials are intended for use by students to complement commercially available and teacher-prepared materials. They are not a substitute for these resources. The Course Companions are intended to help students plot their way through each unit and to aid revision once the unit is completed.
The Course Companions provide:
- a brief overview of the unit content;
- a brief explanation of each of the main topic areas;
- some more detailed guidance on the content areas that tend to cause students most problems;
- a brief description of the examination and what it is trying to assess;
- some study tips and guidance on examination technique;
- information on other useful resources;
- a glossary of key concepts and definitions; and
- a revision checklist.
