CCEA’s GCSE English Specification meets the requirements of the Northern Ireland GCSE regulations and builds on the pupils’ experience of the Programme of Study for English at Key Stage 3.
The specification is compatible with CCEA’s GCSE English Literature specification. Work submitted for the Reading component may also be submitted, where appropriate and suitable, for assessment in English Literature.
