Moderation of Coursework
The ‘Instructions to Teachers’ booklet for teacher assessed components 2009 should be in schools by the end of February. You can also access a copy of the booklet through the coursework section of the microsite.
Written coursework samples will be collected from centres May 1st. This year the Tac 1 form will be in OMR format. Instructions giving guidance on completion of these OMR forms is at the back of the ‘Instructions to Teachers’ booklet.
GCE Literature
Unit A2 2
The passage from the text will be provided in the examination paper for Unit A2 2 Section A: Close analysis of a prose extract. This is now a 'closed book' exam and any edition of the set texts can be used to carry out examination practice.
There will be no alternative texts provided for this section of the examination for Summer 2010 to ensure demand across the paper remains equal. Should texts be replaced in the future you will receive a circular at the appropriate time.
