GCSE English Currently Being Revised

Revised GCE specification for English Literature
Launch events for the revised specification were held last November with an additional event held on 24th January. View the presentation given on the days.

January 2009 Mark Schemes Now Available to Download
The mark schemes for the January 2009 series are now available to download free of charge.
Moderation of Talking and Listening
The ‘Instructions to Teachers’ booklet for teacher assessed components 2009 should be in schools by the end of February. You can also access a copy of the booklet through the coursework section of the microsite.
Written coursework samples will be collected from centres May 1st. This year the Tac 1 form will be in OMR format. Instructions giving guidance on completion of these OMR forms is at the back of the ‘Instructions to Teachers’ booklet.
Examiners and Moderators needed.
