GCSE English Literature
To be successful in work and life, you need the skills to understand and respect people and cultural differences, present imaginative solutions, and gain and retain knowledge. Studying GCSE English Literature can foster those skills.
Students will learn about history and culture as they study authors, characters and the different literary periods. By examining a variety of characters and character development, students will unravel the nuances of the human condition. Critical analysis of works will develop their evaluation skills and how to shape and support an argument.
