Specification
In Entry Level Science, students are assessed against seven assessment objectives.
Students must:
- carry out experimental and investigative work in which they plan, make measurements and observations, analyse and evaluate evidence;
- communicate scientific observations and ideas using appropriate vocabulary;
- make informed judgements about scientific information;
- apply scientific principles and knowledge to familiar and unfamiliar situations;
- develop abilities and skills that encourage safe practice;
- recall, understand, use and apply scientific knowledge set out in the units studied; and
- develop basic numeric skills to process scientific data.
