Specification

GCSE In GCSE German, students are assessed against four assessment objectives. They must:

AO1: understand spoken language;

AO2: communicate in speech;

AO3: understand written language; and

AO4: communicate in writing.

Students of the GCSE Short course are only assessed against two of the assessment objectives:

  • AO1 and AO2; or
  • AO3 and AO4.
