Please note that there is no coursework component for GCE Government and Politics.

There are, however, six examinations for GCE Government and Politics: three at AS level and a further three at A2. The exams vary in format and require students to respond to source material, answer structured questions and write essays. We set and mark all exams.

  • All questions are compulsory.
  • The exam includes a mix of short answer and longer in-depth response questions.

1 hour exam

  • Students must answer one short essay question from a choice of four.
