Specification

Our GCE Government and Politics specification sets out the content and assessment details for our Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and Advanced Level (A Level) courses.

Students can take the AS course as a final qualification or as the first half of the A Level qualification. Students who wish to obtain a full A Level qualification must also complete the second half of the course, which is referred to as A2.

The specification has a modular structure. Students are required to study three compulsory modules at AS level. At A2, students must complete another three modules from a choice of six.
