Assessment

Students are assessed in their ability to:

demonstrate historical knowledge;
communicate their awareness and understanding of history;
show an awareness of chronology and the key features of the periods, societies and events studied;
provide reasons for and results of events and changes;
identify different ways in which the past has been represented; and
identify and use historical sources and ask questions about the past.
