GCE Home Economics is made up of two parts: AS and A2 Level. The AS can be taken as an independent qualification. However, students who wish to obtain the full Advanced GCE qualification must complete the AS course as well as the A2 course.
The specification is made up of four units. Students are required to study two units for AS and a further two units for the full Advanced GCE course. All units are compulsory.
