Students must complete two examinations: one for Unit 1: Parenthood, Pregnancy and Childbirth and one for Unit 2: Child Development (0–5 years).
Each exam lasts 1 hour, is worth 20 percent of the overall marks and is only available in the summer.
Students must respond to short answer, structured, stimulus response and
free-response questions. All questions are compulsory.
