In GCE Applied Health and Social Care, we assess four of the units through examinations:

The table below provides information on the weightings and availability for each examination:

AS 3 Health and Well-Being
AS 5 Adult Client Groups
A2 9 Providing Services
A2 12 Understanding Human Behaviour

We set and mark each exam. In addition, each exam:

  • lasts 2 hours;
  • is worth 16.66 percent of a full GCE;
  • is available in the spring and summer series;
  • presents only compulsory questions; and
  • is made up of short and longer response questions.
