In this Double Award course in Health and Social Care, students can be awarded grades A*A*–GG, with A*A* being the highest. For students who fail to attain a grade GG, we report their results as unclassified (UU).

We’ve organised the course into four compulsory units:

  • Unit SA1: Working in Health and Social Care;
  • Unit SA2: Personal Development;
  • Unit DA1: Health and Well-Being; and
  • Unit DA2: Promoting Quality Care.

Unit DA2: Promoting Quality Care

  • Code of Practice for Social Care Workers
  • Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct
  • Values and principles of the early years and children’s services sector
  • Policies in care settings.
