Entry Level ICT builds upon the knowledge, skills, and understanding delivered through ICT in Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. Its unique combination of coursework, controlled classroom tests and written examination also allows students to demonstrate a variety of ICT skills in a range of contexts.

The specification is made up of the following five components:

Presenting Information
Handling Information
Spreadsheet Modelling
Use of the Internet
Understanding the Use of ICT in Everyday Life.

Students must complete all five modules in the same academic year.
