All GCSE ICT exams are externally set and moderated and are available each summer. There is one exam for the GCSE short course and two exams for the full GCSE.
Exam questions are drawn from all areas of the specification and examine all the assessment objectives. All questions are compulsory. Exam questions may involve:
- factual recall and understanding of material from the specification content; and/or
- analysis, interpretation and evaluation of data and information.
The table below offers a summary of examination papers, weighting percentages and grade ranges.
