In GCSE ICT, students are assessed against three assessment objectives. They must be able to:

  • recall, select and communicate their knowledge and understanding of ICT (AO1);
  • apply knowledge, understanding and skills to produce ICT-based solutions (AO2); and
  • analyse, evaluate, make reasoned judgments and present conclusions (AO3).
