In GCSE ICT (Short Course), Unit 1 is assessed by controlled assessment. It is worth 60 percent of the overall grade and includes three tasks, which we set. Students must work independently and make reference to any resources they have used.
Teachers mark the controlled assessment tasks, using criteria that we provide, and we moderate them.
