The ICT Accreditation Scheme has come to an end.

Over the past four years, CCEA has offered the voluntary ICT Accreditation Scheme to KS3 schools.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the teachers and pupils who have worked so hard to make the Accreditation Scheme a success.

The KS3 ICT Accreditation Scheme has come to an end because statutory assessment of the Cross-Curricular Skill of Using ICT begins in September 2013.

Please discard all materials relating to the ICT Accreditation Scheme. These have been superceded by materials for statutory assessment on www.nicurriculum.org.uk.

Statutory Assessment of Using ICT (from September 2013)

From September 2013, the assessment and reporting of Using ICT will be a statutory requirement. We have created several resources to support you in your school preparations for statutory assessment of Using ICT.

Using ICT Microsite
Available in the Key Stage 3 section of www.nicurriculum.org.uk, the microsite contains all the materials you will need to support you. These include guidance documents, Desirable Features, information about Task Approval, the Exemplification Library and much more.
