GCSE and Two Tier Mathematics N Modules

GCSE Topic Tracker

Topic Tracker is a free resource designed to improve and introduce innovative support for GCSE Mathematics.

This new resource allows you to personally design new worksheets by giving you free access to over 1000 of CCEA's GCSE Mathematics past paper questions.

We are also currently working on a similar version for GCE Mathematics.

GCSE Three Tier Mathematics Final Series Summer 2009

The examination series in summer 2009 will be the final series of examinations for GCSE Mathematics three tier (G60).
Papers will be offered in all three tiers:

Foundation Tier: papers 1 and 2 plus coursework
Intermediate Tier: papers 3 and 4 plus coursework
Higher Tier: papers 5 and 6 plus coursework

Entries for the examinations should be made by 21 February.
Coursework must be submitted by Friday 1 May.

Summer 2008 Papers Available to Download

The past papers and mark schemes for the Summer 2008 series are now available to download free of charge. Just click on the examinations tab within each subject and then select the past papers tab. January 2009 papers will be available soon.

The UK Regulatory Authorities are finalising the revised subject criteria for GCSE Mathematics. Thank you to those of you who sent responses to the Regulators on the draft criteria. Once the subject criteria are agreed, CCEA and the other UK Awarding Bodies will have to design their new specifications within the parameters set in these documents. There are a number of ways in the new year that you can get involved in the consultation on the new specification. Before we start this process we would be keen to have your ideas on how you would like the new specification and assessment materials to look. Please email us on mathematicsfeedback@ccea.org.uk and tell us what has worked well with your students.

GCSE Two Tier Mathematics Revision Booklets

A set of six revision booklets have been developed by Colourpoint Educational to support the GCSE Two Tier Mathematics specification. This set of six booklets provides some very useful revision questions to prepare students for the examinations. There is one booklet for each of levels N1 to N6. Both calculator and non-calculator questions are included.
