Our Entry Level Mathematics award is designed for learners who have not yet reached Level 3 of the Northern Ireland Curriculum at the end of Key Stage 3 and for whom GCSE and equivalent vocational qualifications are not yet deemed appropriate.
Through studying Entry Level Mathematics, learners will have the opportunity to develop an awareness of:

  • number;
  • time in everyday situations;
  • money;
  • shape;
  • measurement and position; and
  • data handling.

This course prepares students for further studies in Mathematics or Mathematics-related vocational courses.
