Agreement Trials

These are held on an annual basis in the Autumn. Teachers have the opportunity to view and mark candidates work from the previous series of examinations and determine the level at which that work is marked. This knowledge should then be appied to the teachers’ own marking of their candidates’ work.

Portfolio Clinic

From September 2010, a Portfolio Clinic will be conducted annually in the Spring Term. Teachers may submit work from the coursework unit and have any questions regarding the level or suitability of the work addressed by a senior member of the moderation team. Centers can submit full or partial submissions from up to three candidates, and so it’s recommended that teachers choose a high, medium and low-level submission or those which are problematic.
