GCE Music
Music is made not only by composers, classical musicians, rock groups and jazz bands but also by young people in music classrooms.
Our GCE Music course gives students the opportunity to develop their own musical interests. They compose and perform their own music in their preferred style using their preferred instruments. This includes the opportunity to compose music using the latest music technology and to perform as a DJ.
Through studying GCE music, students get a real understanding of how music works. They gain the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to take part in music making and communicate through music.
Many students with GCE qualifications go on to study music at university and have successful music-related careers.
