Specification

In Entry Level Religious Studies, students are assessed against two assessment objectives. The assessment objectives require students to show knowledge and understanding of the course content and be able to evaluate information relating to the course content.

Students are required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of:

  • the key elements of the religion(s) studied including beliefs, practices, sources of authority and organisation; and
  • the effect of religions on individual or corporate moral behaviour, attitudes, social practices and lifestyles; and
  • to produce evidence and arguments to support and evaluate points of view.

Further details on assessment objectives can be viewed in the full specification.
