Our GCSE Religious Studies appeals to students who have an interest in understanding Christian beliefs, values and traditions. Through studying GCSE Religious Studies, students are encouraged to:


  • recognise the religious and spiritual dimensions of society;
  • understand how Christians see their religion;
  • respect the beliefs, values and attitudes of others; and
  • examine their own life thoughts and opinions about religion as they identify the values and attitudes which influence them.

GCSE Religious Studies helps students develop a variety of skills including analysis, evaluation of evidence and analytical thinking when faced with different viewpoints. It provides an excellent foundation for further study.
