SHORT COURSE (From previous specification)
(PDF), Last Updated: 03 July 2007
Students of the full course must complete two written examinations, one for each of the units they study. Each exam lasts 1 hour 30 minutes and is worth 50 percent of the final award.
The scheme of assessment is unitised, and therefore flexible. The following
possibilities are available:
- Students take both assessment units at the end of one year of study.
- Students take both assessment units at the end of two years of study.
- Students take one assessment unit at the end of one year of study and the other at the end of a second year.
Students can take assessment units in any order.
Students of the short course must complete one written exam on the unit they have studied. The exam lasts 1 hour 30 minutes and is worth 100 percent of the final award.
We set and mark all the exams. They are available in summer only.
For more information, see the specification.
