GCE Software Systems Development Agreement Trials 2016

There will be Agreement Trials for GCE Software Systems Development on the following dates:

  • A2S21 will be held on 18th Oct
  • A1S21 will be held on 14th Nov

Venues still to be confirmed.

Information has gone out to all centres regarding these dates, please check with your Head of Centre or Exams Officer.

Teacher Upskilling Course with Allstate NI-GCSE Digital Technology

CCEA in conjunction with Allstate NI are providing a 4 day course (Monday 20 June to Thursday 23 June inclusive) in teacher training in C#, a high level computer programming language.

The course is designed to provide teachers with the necessary skills to deliver computer programming elements of the proposed new GCSE in Digital Technology. Read more...

Software Systems Development - developing skills for the digital age

On Tuesday Anne Marie Duffy and Michael McAuley joined Allstate NI at Down High School, Downpatrick to present an award to GCE Software Systems Development student - Jared Morgan. Jared gained the highest mark in GCE Software Systems Development at AS level in the summer 14 examinations series. This summer will see the first full award of this exciting and innovative new qualification.
