IMPORTANT Summer 2012 Coursework GCE T&D information: Due to feedback raised from centres for this year only the submission date for AS and A2 Technology and Design will be Monday 14th May 2012. Please be aware that this date will be the 1st May in 2013 in line with GCSE Technology and Design, Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction and the Built Environment. (05 April 12)
Fees - Change of Candidate Tier: A penalty charge of 75% of the entry charge will be applied to all change of candidate tier requests received 21 days or more after published closing date. (05 April 12)
The Teacher's Copy of GCE Chemistry Practical - to be opened 3 working days in advance of examination, not 5 as currently stated. (22 Feb 12)
Collection of portfolios from non direct calims centres for Key Skills will now take place on 17th May 2012. (22 Feb 12)
Please note the GCSE Science (Legacy Specifications) will be awarded for the final time in May/June 2012 and not January 2013 as previously indicated. (02 Feb 12)
The Specification and Entry Codes (All other qualifications) section has been amended to include a new appendix 'Occupational Studies Unit Table' (25 Jan 12)
The dates for the issue of GCE AS/A2 & GCSE Art and Design Sampling Instructions to centres have been changed:
- GCSE will be issued to centres on 1st May 2012
- GCE A2 will be issued to centres on 14th May 2012
- GCE AS will be issued to centres on 25th May 2012
