What kind of achievement is being awarded?

We have four main categories for nomination:

  • Learner's personal strengths and qualities demonstrated in the course e.g. motivation, determination, enthusiasm;
  • How the course has benefited the learner, e.g. confidence, working with others;
  • How the learner has overcome any difficulties e.g. time management, learning challenges, communication; and
  • Any additional information you would like to add to support your nomination.

What are the important dates?

Nominations must be with CCEA by Friday 24 February 2012.

The Award Ceremony will take place on Tuesday 1 May 2012.

Who can nominate?

Nominations may be submitted by any centre offering any of the listed CCEA vocational qualifications.

How can I make a nomination?

  1. Select learner(s) from each of the categories.
  2. Download and print the nomination form.
  3. Complete the form ensuring all details of the learner(s) and teaching centres have been included. (Alternatively, you can key your responses to Part B onto a separate A4 sheet. Please make sure you include the candidate name, number and your signature and attach to the nomination form with Section A completed in writing).
  4. Remember to supply as much information about the learner(s) as possible to support the nomination.
  5. Indicate on the nomination form in the appropriate box that you have been given permission to nominate by the school/college principal/director/manager.
