Anne McErlane, a Primary school teacher from Mount St Michaels Primary School in Randalstown went out for a day around the local town to find out about work within different employment sectors. Anne visited a garden centre, newspaper office, tourist information centre, car dealership, post office, estate agents and the civic centre.

This project involves primary 6 and 7 classes and was aimed at raising awareness of how we could improve the school grounds. The topic was experienced from an enterprise approach and linked to an existing school Comenius project on the theme of developing a Friendship Garden.
