With effect from 1 February 2007, Neil Anderson has taken up post as Acting Chief Executive of CCEA. Most recently as CCEA’s Director of Operations, Neil held overall responsibility for the delivery of all our services relating to examinations and assessment.
Neil replaces Gavin Boyd who has now left CCEA to take up his new role as Chief Executive (Designate) of the Education and Skills Authority. Gavin has made an outstanding contribution to the development of CCEA over the past seven years and he leaves with the best wishes of everyone in the organisation as he takes on this important new challenge.
Commenting on his appointment Mr Anderson said:
