CCEA’s Online Results Service a worldwide hit

Tuesday 01 November 2011

Feedback from students who received their A level results online last summer shows that more than 90% of those surveyed found the system user friendly and easy to access.

In August 1000s of CCEA GCE students logged on to get their grades from all over the world. Results were accessed from 49 countries across the globe, including Singapore, Monaco and New Zealand.

In all the online service was accessed by almost 11,000 students.

It is usual for students to be on holiday, voluntary trips abroad or to have begun a gap year. With travelling can come the inconvenience and anxiety of contacting family for news of their results. Now students can access their results in their own time and from a computer anywhere in the world.

Feedback CCEA has received from students who used the service has been extremely encouraging. For example, nearly 95% of students rated CCEA’s online results service highly. The majority of students indicated that they found the:

  • design of the system user friendly (92.4%);
  • results easy to access (92%);
  • system easy to access/login (91.5%); and
  • system quick and efficient (84.1%).

Furthermore, nearly 96% of students indicated that they would recommend this service to friends (95.6%).

With the positive reception CCEA has received we hope even more schools, colleges and students make use of this online service.

GREAT SO EASY TO LOG ON AND FIND OUT RESULTS SO EARLY. MANY THANKS

It was less intimidating than having to go to school for results in case it was bad news. A really good system. Thank you.

I love it :)

Brilliant System
