Special Educational Needs Conference

In May CCEA Regulator held a conference on Special Educational Needs (SEN) at Hilton Hotel, Templepatrick
The conference focused on qualifications provision for 14-19 year olds with SEN. The conference is linked to CCEA's work to ensure better recognition for the achievements of SEN learners within the context of the Entitlement Framework. The project is commissioned by the Department of Education (DE) and supported by the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) and the Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI).
Attendees were senior management/teachers working with pupils aged 14-19 in special schools and learning support centres. Pictured below with Regulation's Lisa McMahon and Roger McCune are some of the speakers from the day.
