No change to CCEA GCSEs for students starting courses in September 2012

The Department of Education in Northern Ireland has undertaken a consultation in relation to potential changes to the nature of GCSEs in Northern Ireland.
This consultation closed on 30th December 2011 and the Minister for Education is expected to make an announcement on the way forward in the coming weeks.
Until the Department of Education’s position on this matter is clarified and announced, CCEA’s qualifications will remain unchanged. We will post further information as soon as it becomes available.
