Basedata

Base-data files are now available for download. Scroll down to the examination series or click the links below and follow the download guidelines. The files are self extracting executable.

Important: Centres Outside Northern Ireland

The disallowed combinations contained in basedata files have been adjusted to prevent candidates being entered for different options in the same specification.

Please contact your software support provider to update your system to enable this if you encounter an error while submitting entries with an error message that reads e.g.

'G38H cannot be entered with G38H'.

Important: Northern Ireland Schools

In 2008 series some schools experienced difficulty refreshing Basedata and/or creating submission files for certain module combinations e.g. AS History or AS RE in January 2008 and science modules in the March/June 2008 series.

When importing the Basedata files in the following series it is advisable for each award that you import the maximum elements e.g. Higher and Foundation English.

If you still experience difficulty or need further advice please contact the C2k helpdesk or your C2k support team immediately.
